Most of what you have described sounds like you just don't like change. I personally find the site more appealing and easier to use.
1. The flow range is right on the river description. You should easily be able to tell whether it is high runnable or low runnable. If you are relying on a website to judge whether you are good enough to run a river then maybe you shouldn't be on that river or you should ask others that know the river and know your skill. Personally, I think that there should be no upper limit for "too high" to run Little Falls. I have not found that level yet.
2. To find the USGS or source gauge page simply click on the flow of the river from the state list. Then click on the Source Gauge's Page tab. That should give you both the cfs and gauge height. I am sorry if two clicks are too much of an inconvenience you. It is not for me.
3. AW is trying to update the site that has not been update in at least 15 years. Give them a break. A lot of the work is being done by volunteers. What are you doing to help. Volunteer your time.
It sounds to me that you just don't like the changes. Take some time play with the site and figure it out. I really think it is much better.
