Message: Now they say they're shut down "for an extended length of time" until t hey can design and build an entirely new purification system. In the meantime the state won't even let them empty the course water into the Catawba. I've only been there once, but in recent months I've read reports of heavy algae blooms and leech infestations. That's more than a little lapse in the purification system, that's an entire ecosystem in place and both species are indicators of severely degraded water. Replies to this post No replies yet |
