Changes in Fishladder

So paddling the fishladder a few times over the winter I've noticed a few changes, and not good ones. It seems like a lot more water is going off 'Bit%$ monkey" or "crunk monkey" , and not in the same way. there used to be a defined eddy on the right, and the monkey was guarded by a little spine of rock. the small amount of water going off took a twisting indirect line. now it seems like a large amount of the main current coming out of the 3rd slide maintains momemtum and goes directly off the drop at these levels than before. the divder rock that you keep left of is covered, creating a feature, and there is a lot less water going down the 4th slide, making it even rougher on the boat than before. there used to be plenty of water on the 4th slide at 3.5, but now its shallow at 4 feet. also. there is a new rock in the middle of the 'Limbo' rapid between the 3rd and 4th slides, where logs like to get pinned. it sort of looks like the mid stream rock cracked and now there are some sharp rocks in the middle.maybe its just because of the lower flow but was new to me as of last fall. line is on the right. 1st 2nd and 5th slides are good, and there are also logs in front of the bridge, in upper tight quarters and in the back canyon. Bridge Channel has a huge logjam near the play hole, so be wary on the approach if you go down there when the water comes up I want to try to find some pictures on the 3rd slide feature and crunk monkey to compare what they look like if anyone else wants to share some. i think these changes are generally unfavorable, making the 3rd slide more dangerous, limbo rapid uglier, and the 4th slide more abusive. there is more water falling into the back canyon so theoretically its now runnable lower.
Seems to me that the best situation i can remember was a few years back when there was a big logjam blocking crunk monkey, so you could eddy out on the right below 3rd slide without concern, and the 4th slide was cushy. maybe we'll get lucky this spring.
