If you want to get into creeking, get in your car and drive to a river. 
My girlfriend and I are fairly decent "beginner/intermediate" creekers so most the rivers we run would likely be right up your alley if you'd like to roll with us sometime. We try to hit a new river every month and run everything from 2+ to the occasional 5. We roll with a pretty eclectic crew and a new face is always welcome. Cheat training is about to start so we won't be exploring as often as usual, but we'll probably be playing hooky if the levels are nice.
The levels do look pretty sweet the next few days and I'll likely be out on Little Falls. Drop me a line if you'd like to meet up.
