I have been wearing these for 2 years. I got my first pair to stop my feet from getting cut up by reefs when I went surfing, and they gripped so well that I stopped waxing my board. I now wear them all the time. Great for kayaking, climbing, running, walking etc. There can be problems with differing toe lengths and rubbing in certain spots, and if you wear them all the time, then they will wear through the sole in about 6-8 months. Definatly a try before you buy situation. After a few weeks of usage, you will be able to get them on on off your feet very easily and quickly. people will ask you about them all the time when you are wearing them, which can get annoying. I love them, and have a couple of pairs now for different situations
