Potomac Paddlesports Store Converting To Classroom and Meeting Space
In keeping with the times, and in order to focus more resources on expanding our kayak school and a new online retail store, Potomac Paddlesports will discontinue retail sales to the general public at our Potomac, Maryland location effective January 14.
We plan to convert the store to a classroom and meeting space, where we will continue to offer paddling clothing and equipment for sale to students and guests of our programs, along with bulk discount orders for paddling clubs. Contact us if you are a paddling club or conservation organization interested in using the classroom or meeting space for Potomac River-related events.

We sincerely wish to thank everyone in the DC paddling community who supported both our Rockville and Potomac retail store locations over the past 13 years. Through your patronage and support, we were ranked among the top 5 US dealers for most major brands of quality paddling gear, which in turn supported the US paddle sports manufacturing industry.
Paddling Gear Inventory Liquidation Sale / Giveaway / Kayak and SUP Swap Jan 11-13
Per the advertised prices below, we will begin liquidating our remaining retail inventory at the location starting this Friday, January 11 at 9812 Falls Road, in Potomac, Maryland (in the mall next door to Citibank). The store will be open 10-6 on Friday and Saturday, 12-5 on Sunday. The sale will be rain, snow, or shine. Bring exact change cash for fast checkout and we'll pay your MD sales tax.
If you have any paddling gear to sell, we invite you to bring it and hang out in the store on Saturday and Sunday to swap or sell to our customers absolutely free of charge (with a suggested 6% donation to The Potomac Riverkeeper, Potomac Conservancy, or C&O Canal Trust.) Large items such as canoes, kayaks, and SUPs must remain on your vehicle in our parking lot, please.
