The answer is yes, yes and yes. American Whitewater via Kevin Colburn brokered grants with RTCA River Trails Conservation- to work on this. The Appalachian Trail has also jumped in, noting that over 20,000 people last year crossed at Weaverton. The CSX is making life difficult and is claiming Weaverton as CSX property. Yesterday signs were placed at Weaverton denying access. However CSX says they did not post them. I will try to keep you informed as these fast moving developments occur.
