Parking at lock 5, 6, or 7 safe?

Hi,

Working in DC for a while in Georgetown and was wondering if it is safe to park at Little Falls or one of the other locks and leave the car there for about 6 or 7 hours (and bike in to the med center). Already snagged a snazzy 100 dollar parking ticket at GU so looking for a way to bike in.

Any advice appreciated (I realize this isn't boating related...other than the question coming from a boater).
