some info on the boat

Length: 10'11"
Weight: 40lbs
Volume: 66 gallons
Weight Range: 90-190lbs


So, theoretically you'd fit it fairly well...you certainly wouldn't have foot room issues...but, I'm not sure its the best boat for a beginner. On one hand, its pretty cheap, and if you learn well in it, moving to a modern boat will seem like taking a huge leap forward. On the other hand, its an OLD design (20 years old), and you can buy more modern designs for not much more.

Hopefully others who have paddled the boat can weight in with more info
