course, I'm an old-school boater but I never thought of this as anything but a -IV. I've run it at low water (1000 - 1600 cfs) but I've never run it above 3500 cfs. Never saw it as a Class V unless perhaps you wander too far right on the approach and blunder into a nasty hole that was there. Saw a friend do this once; it was actually kind of humorous.
