These two options could definitely be improved.

Mather Gorge: Unless you want to set shuttle on both sides of the river, you're going to want to put in Fishermans eddy on the Virginia side. Run the river as far down as you want. (Rocky island waves, or to the boat launch) then hike back to the parking lot. If coming from the Maryland side, park at anglers. Paddle/ hike the canal until Sandy Beach put in. Obvious trail on the left. Paddle out to just below S turn and run back to Anglers.

Little Falls: Put on at Lock 5 or 6. Paddle down. You dont have to take out at Fletchers boathouse. You will see a concrete wall just after the rapid on the left. Hike back to the Canal then paddle to your car.
