How did you find the water quality?

It didn't look particularly inviting at the AT, at least not enough to jump right in.

(Of course, I was hiking north on the AT along Rocky Row Run, into which I *did* jump!)

I drove down to Big Island, next to a Georgia Pacific plant, which stinks. The river looked rather dismal there, also.

Maybe just the low summer levels?
