Hi Steve,

Welcome to the DC area. Most club boaters in the area belong to the Canoe Cruisers's Assn., Monocacy Canoe Club, and the Blue Rige Voyageurs. See the links on the MCC (under Canoe Clubs and More) or on BRV's paddling resource links page). Also in the region are the Baltimore CK club, Mason Dixon CC, and the Coastals canoe clubs. CCA is offering ww canoeing and kayaking courses, and all the clubs have great trip schedules. Lot's of paddlers in the area belowng to sveral clubs. Going on club tripps great way to meet paddlers, check out the manycgreat rivers and creeks in MD, VA, WV and PA, and learn some tips, ticks, and paddling lore.

Enjoy!
