Don't believe the gauges for the Top Yough

Yesterday we ran the Top Yough and it was much higher than what the gauges indicate.
This goes for Muddy Creek gauge also.
The Top Yough gauge at Oakland, for both yesterday (~350cfs) and today (~300cfs), indicate a lower runnable level. Yesterday Swallow Falls was pretty juicy with the hole at the bottom being pretty damned sticky - it is not sticky at all at lower runnable levels. Swallow Tail could have been a significant re-circulator if run in the wrong spot and sucked back in.
Muddy Creek was really kicking and a beautiful site.
If you look at USGS 03076100 gauge - Yough at Hoyes, MD, and go down to the flow and look at it minus the Hydro Release, you get a better idea of the real flow (~680cfs yesterday and ~560 cfs today).

The hole at the bottom of s*** Hole is quite a bit bigger at 680 CFS as opposed to 350cfs.
The Top Yough is not that hard in a playboat at lower runnable levels. At higher runnable levels it can get a little challenging.
