This was a 4 meter Galasport slalom boat, but it was cut down to 3.5 meters. When the rules changed from 4m to 3.5m, some local US Team racers worked with Galasport to experiment on new hull shapes to see what would work best at the new length.
The biggest differences are that the bow is wider and blunter than a typical modern 3.5m race boat, and the stern is swept up a bit more. As you can see, the hull changes were done with carbon and are well-shaped.
Honestly, this is not a great boat for actually slalom racing. The rocker profile of the stern is not ideal for pivot turns.
BUT, it is still a good attaining boat, and an awesome Rocky surfing boat. The rockered stern keeps the bow up and makes for responsive carving.
It's an old boat, so it's fairly ugly and a bit beat up, but it is watertight and paddles well.
It's best for medium-sized paddlers. I was a tight fit with 34" inseam and 11M feet.
I'm in Alexandria but could meet at Anglers with some planning. Cash only please. Local sales only.
