Greg Mallet-Prevost ( http://www.acckap.com/ ) is a good friend to DC-area boaters, and I'll bet his rental rates are reasonable. Best of all, he is on the way from the DC area to the Paw-Paw Bends section.
You'll be on your own for transporting the boat there, but you may be able to get a shuttle from Bill's Place in Little Orleans, MD: (301) 478-2701.
If Greg doesn't rent for out-of-town trips, you may be able to rent from Bill's Place, but I'd call Greg first, because I suspect he has much better boats, and Greg will take the time to work on the outfitting and gear-lashing issues with you.
