Yes - depends on what you want them for. They are good for travel and storage and are less likely to hurt you when you fall. They don't perform as well as hard boards, but some surf very well.

If durability is an issue and you want a hardboard, look at the BIC or Glide boards. It really depends on whether you want to use them for: whitewater, flatwater or ocean surfing or cruising and whether you want a very light rigid board or one that is more durable and softer. If storage and transport are not important go with a hardboard unless you really like the forgiving nature of an inflatable. Watch out, once you buy one you will most likely buy more than one!
