The Point is that ALL public access to the Potomac at Sandy Hook, Potoma Wayside and along US 340 has been greatly restricted, bit by bit, over the last 20 years. Potoma Wayside is very busy, the stoplight there has become a huge bottleneck for US 340 and the area on river right along the road now sports no parking signs.
