I haven't had a chance to view the whole story yet, but the show started out with a gross inaccuracy. The show claimed, or at least STRONGLY implied, that George Washington placed the Fairfax Stone at the headwaters of the Potomac. However, the Fairfax Stone was placed by a survey team in 1737, when George Washington was only five years old! A second survey team later surveyed the Fairfax Line in 1746, when George Washington was only 14. There is no evidence he was on that trip, either. He started his apprenticeship in surveying in 1748, when he was sixteen.
