Ed that is a great trip report!!

I need to check that out sometime. The way you describe it the upstream "attainment" sounds like it would be really fun using a push pole in an open canoe.

Would there be clearance from overhanging vegetation to stand upright in a canoe and use a 12 ft pushpole?
